About Michel Ong

A bit about me; I consider myself as a self-driven, growth-focused, and passionate leader who can develop a strategic training & development plan that provides the best education and training for individuals. I possessed management experience across the organization as a principal and have gained well-versed knowledge of training and teaching techniques that create optimal learning experiences for individuals on academic, life skills and social emotional development. Due to my passion for instilling a love for life-long learning, classes with me are fun and compelling as they are conducted in an engaging manner that encourages discussions and creates curiosity in students. Below are some of my key career highlights; Business Development & Management: Established a small school as the inaugural principal and provided room for growth in professional development for the staff. Created processes and procedures for the sustainability of routines within the school. Constantly met high expectations from parents & other teachers: Received notes & words of appreciation from students & parents for exceptional teachings and for improving students' interest in academics and good behaviour by developing trust and rapport with children, providing assistance to other teachers, and engaging students in fun and engaging lessons. Effective Communication & teaching abilities: Proven success in dealing closely with students who are struggling with emotional problems, learning disabilities, or situations at home, and helping them find the resources they need. Aided students in reaching cognitive and developmental milestones, ranging from language acquisition, life skills and social emotional development to standardized test score improvements as an educator & principal in Chempaka Kota Kemuning Learning Centre. This year I have taken a leap and ventured into various new fields: 1. Protecting individuals and their family with insurance. Conducting trainings in a mentorship program. Developing content for the mentorship program. I am excited to see where this new path will take me.
