About Michelangelo Dalessandro

I am a Data Scientist with a Masters's in banking and finance. Thanks to my experience working in finance technology, I have developed a firm understanding of financial instruments and capital markets. I undertook a Data Science BootCamp at Le Wagon, in order to gain statistics and computer science skills that underpin data-driven decisions. I have built a strong foundation in Python, data analysis, algorithms, and machine learning models. I am particularly focused in applying modern methods of investment management to build, analyse and optimise portfolio strategies. In managing my own personal investments using custom Python code and existing libraries, I have strengths in its practical implementation that is reinforced by the foundational theory and core concepts of investment management. My main objective is now to combine my analytical skills and my financial knowledge as I pursue a career as an investment analyst.
