I was happily building cars in the automotive industry in Detroit. I received a call one day from a recruiter stating that Royal Caribbean wanted to hire me to head up their new Supply Chain initiative. I laughed and said “I build cars. I have never even seen a cruise ship!” I was intrigued nonetheless. They flew me to Miami & hired me that same day as their Supply Chain Manager. I designed & implemented their Supply Chain and Planning Systems successfully from the ground up. Enjoying every second of it.
