Good Knowledge of turbiditic systems and Mass Transport Deposits and its sedimentary relationships. Good command in measuring detailed (bed-by-bed) stratigraphic sections, particularly in clastic successions, acquiring during Master's Degree fieldwork. Good command in developing a detailed facies analysis on turbiditic succession. Good command in recognizing, studying and describing Hybrid event beds in order to reconstruct their depositional processes. Good command in investigation of fossil record applying Stratigraphic Paleobiology tenets as a tool to refine the sequence stratigraphic interpretation of a given siliciclastic succession Good knowledge of statistical tests for data analysis in geological science and their application within “R Software” and PAST Good command in the assemblage, management and exploration of large paleoecological datasets as to assess the response of coastal communities to past climate changes Good command in laboratory techniques for geological/paleontological samples preparation and microscope techniques Good command in sediment cores interpretation and sampling procedure for geological and paleontological purposes. More in general, my competence includes applied sedimentology and the sedimentary basins analysis, geological survey and cartography, gained during the Master's degree courses and during several geological excursions organized by the Università Statale di Milano. During the course of my PhD I further refined my knowledge of sequence stratigraphy tenets and its interpretation using an approach based on the integration of sedimentology, stratigraphy and paleontology I have a good knowledge about tecniques and metodologies to be applied during a coring activity, and the successive reconstruction of recovered cores.
