About Michele Bowes Smith

An experienced and result-driven professional with proven proficiency in office management and a customer-centric approach to service delivery, which enabled me to streamline operations and delight internal and external stakeholders. Equipped with a master’s in business administration, and postgraduate studies in international business management, I bring a unique blend of academic knowledge and practical experience in implementing effective administrative processes for organizational efficiency. Additionally, part-time lecturing and providing student support services fed my passion to positively impact young professionals. My professional journey began at JPS where I worked as a Billing Clerk, Customer Service Manager, and Parish Manager, honing management, leadership, and team-building skills. The team of workers collaborated to consistently surpass regional and companywide KPIs. Among the major accomplishments at UCC were the institutionalization of the inaugural Annual Student Awards and Recognition Ceremony, the launch of a dedicated Customer Care Unit, and the formalization of a professional mental health support partnership for students. Outside the professional space, I am most content when I am volunteering, reading, or sightseeing.
