Occupational Health Physician Ph.D. in Epidemiology, Environment and Public Health Research Topics- effects of exposure to occupational and environmental pollutants (e.g. air pollution, benzene) on molecular (e.g. mitochondrial DNA copy number alteration, oxidative stress) and epigenetic (e.g. DNA methylation, microRNAs) outcomes- influence of psychosocial factors on the risk of musculoskeletal disorders in different working populations- study and quantification of the potential impacts of environmental exposures on the health of the general population, with particular emphasis on air pollution and noise (health impact assessment studies)- effects of air pollution exposure on psychiatric diseases- influence of night shift work on molecular markers (e.g, telomere length, biological age)- characteristics of SARS-CoV-2 infection in healthcare workers and in the general population.
