About Michele Cohen

After working in the newspaper industry for a decade, I became a stay-at-home mom in 2002. Since April 2006, I have worked from home as a technical editor. I am currently a security content manager in Cisco's Product Security Incident Response Team. I am also the co-owner of Connect to Fans (Bands to Fans), a social media company that typically caters to bands and musicians. We also love working with individuals and businesses. We offer social media management and personalized content development. As an editor, I excel at "trimming the fat", i.e. ridding sentences of extraneous words, thus making the writer's work as clear and concise as possible, and at re-writing text from non-native English speakers into global English.Specialties: Editing, grammar and writing, cybersecurity content, researching, instructional design, social media, lyric videos, minor graphic design.
