I am a physicist with a PhD in Physics of condensed matter. I worked in many fields, from biophysics of protein aggregation, fluorescence of point defects in silica, effect of heterogeneity in amorphous matrixes, synthesis and characterization of Quantum Dots, optical characterization of Nanoplatelets in plasmonic gold nanoresonators, study of the stability of 2D-Quantum Dots under high illumination flux and environmental protection of nanoparticles with a new and patented nano-encapsulation technique. I was Manager for 4 years of a young Team of 20 people in Nexdot, an innovative Start-up in Nanotechnology and related Technological Applications. To date, I am the Director of all Research and Innovation activity of Physicist and innovation leader with over 15 years of experience in luminescence, nanomaterials, quantum dots, and advanced optoelectronic devices. Proven track record in directing large multidisciplinary R&I teams (up to 45 people) and leading European and national collaborative projects. Strong expertise in scientific valorization with 22 publications in high-impact journals (H-index 13,>740 citations). 18 international patents supporting breakthrough technologies in nanomaterials, microdisplays, photonics, packaging and biomedical applications.
