I have been in the childcare industry since After graduating high school I became an assistant preschool teacher while attending Schenectady County Community College. After obtaining my Associates Degree I was promoted to a lead pre-k teacher and also began taking on assistant director roles, I also continued my education and graduated from Siena College with my Bachelors in Social Work. After having my son in my family relocated to Florida. Due to different state regulations I began back in the childcare field as a pre-k teacher. From 2002 until 2015 I was the director of a childcare center until I passed my Florida teaching certification test in 2015 to retain my current position with the Lee County School District as a Curriculum Specialist. I believe humans are life long learners and should never stop growing therefore I decided to once again further my education at the American College of Education to continue climbing the ladder in my profession in order to make changes at higher levels. It is my goal to become the principal in an elementary school.
