About Michele Faccoli

Hello and thank you for being here to read my introduction. My name is Michele Faccoli, a 3D Artist by vocation as I am passionate about solving problems, devising the best work path (or pipeline) by balancing time, money and needs, addressing the most disparate topics. This led my career onto very different fields, which I will list in detail below, ranging from fashion to design, from architecture to engineering, developing and maintaining specific knowledge of each sector over time to help me with future challenges. Having to describe what I am actually able to do, I would say that I am a creator of 3D content and assets: 3D Modeling, organic and hardsurface, texturing and shading for realistic materials, lighting and rendering for both architecture and products. I give my clients a mean to convey their message to their potential buyers, be it a building or a sock, a lamp or a new lock concept, by transforming the technical language into images. What allows me to always remain passionate about my work is the fact that this "job" is capable to always present new challenges, push me to keep up to date with the new technologies, and provide the means to realize my fantasies through a rendering or 3D printing. On a final note, my love for this job alternates with various passions- I love to cook and experiment in the kitchen with foods of all ethnicities and cultures. When I see a dish that inspires me due to its colors, ingredients or flavors, I am obsessed with being able to reproduce and improve it- I find mental refreshment in practicing weight lifting and Thai boxing, it helps to unplug for a while and relax the brain muscles while exploiting my body muscles that have been sitting for a whole day- I'm an avid music listener, which I often randomly rotate on many different genres and with which I help myself to keep focused for hours long.
