About Michele Goodman

Having many years of experience in a fast-paced, high volume working environment I have an excellent grasp of support, accuracy and devotion to detail each patient/client requires. Being first point of contact, prioritizing, multi-tasking, time sensitive, interdepartmental communication and confidentiality are key. I work with Meditech, Excel, Powerpoint, Prezi and type 70 WPM. At the start of the pandemic, management and myself were the administrative team to help open the hospital’s Covid Assessment Centre. I trained and prepared all new administrative staff as it got busier. I’ve served on the Clerical Council on behalf of my colleagues, allowing continued communication, flow and continuity throughout departments. I created the Registration Training Manual, a detailed manual of skill expectation, compliance, policy, and health care benefits pertaining to the Ministry of Health or Private sector. Volunteering has been a passion of mine for many years, working with young children, youth, diverse culture and also patient care.
