About Michele Johnson

My name is Michele Lauren Johnson a full-time fashion merchandise student with a minor in digital science at Kent State University. Merchandising is my expertise, it’s my passion and going to school for it has made me even more adverse in the merchandise industry. At school, I have been able to advance not only my merchandise skills but also my communication, leadership and digital science skills. As a former Resident Assistant, Leasing Agent, merchandise coordinator and current Vice President of The Ohio Student Association; I have been able to become a well rounded inquisitive individual. My fashion merchandise classes have increased my visual merchandise skills while my digital science classes have increased my data inventory computer skills. My sophomore year I was able to work for the National Association of College and University Residence Halls, there I have designed and bought merchandise for over members. Also during my school career, I have worked as a leasing agent for University Edge Apartments, there I was able to improve my sales skills while selling over 100 leases.
