About Michele Lim

I am currently completing a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at University College London (UCL) qualifying in October 2025. Here, my doctoral research explores affective dynamics in bipolar disorder using smartphone-based experience sampling methods. Prior to this, I graduated with an MSc in Psychological Research from the University of Oxford, where I co-developed an international study examining the impact of COVID-19 on adolescent mental health. Alongside this, I carried out research exploring the role of anxiety and stress in predicting binge eating behaviours in adolescents. In my clinical work, I provide evidence-based interventions to support individuals with neurodiversity and mental health difficulties, including eating disorders, trauma-related conditions, and challenges in relationships. My research interests lie in risk and protective factors for psychological difficulties, with a focus on digital mental health interventions and preventative approaches. In my consultancy work, I regularly advise on research trials and projects for various organisations across the UK, including the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR).
