My name is Michele Maganza, and you'll find in me the experience needed to manage and grow your hotel business. I've worked in establishments with high and precise quality standards, attentive to market changes, which have shaped my more than 38 years of technical and professional expertise. I'm seeking a position as Executive Chef in Italy and abroad. My knowledge of the F&B sector has been built working with hotels, resorts, fine restaurants, luxury suites, and villas, both international and Italian hotel groups. Throughout my professional career, I've attended numerous refresher and specialization courses both at the facilities where I've worked and abroad. I have solid experience in the Middle East, all the main Caribbean islands, Africa, Asia, Mexico, Switzerland, the Maldives, etc, and, of course, in Italy. I speak and write several languages, have a thorough knowledge of the entire Microsoft Office suite, and excellent communication and organizational skills. My culinary experience certainly comes with a solid international background and a consolidated Italian/Mediterranean flair. I have part of a team that I form, including heads of de partie, demi chefs, and pastry chefs. Both personally and professionally, I have a strong ability to plan, manage, maintain, and renovate facilities, following company objectives and/or making changes based on my experience. I have excellent managerial, technical, and presentation skills, as well as event, cost, and revenue organization. I manage large teams, control purchasing, cost and revenue, manual recipe maintenance, F&B activity planning, menu design, staff training, etc. I understand and apply HACCP and Intertek Cristal guidelines.
