About Michele Mancini

I am Head of Project Development in Nexta Project Development srl (a company of Nexta Capital Partners) where I manage the design and authorization of a multi-GW pipeline of PV and BESS projects at different stages of the permitting process. I am also responsible for consolidating and enlarging the team. Between 2015 and 2022, I was Sector Operation Manager in Stantec, responsible for leading and managing the energy team (20 people) and for developing the energy business (approx. 2.5 M€). Between 2016 and 2022 I was certified as Expert in Energy Management according to the standard UNI 11339:2009. I have 16 years of professional experience in the energy efficiency, renewable energy, climate change and, more recently, hydrogen and battery storage sectors. I am Project Manager since 2010 with overall responsibility on several national and international projects. I directly carried out and managed projects in many countries over the world and had the chance to work with people of different cultures and nationalities. This represented an important growth opportunity and a massive training for his leadership capability. From 2010 to 2015 I worked mainly on European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) projects and had the opportunity to appreciate, learn and apply EBRD principles and procedures. Between 2012 and 2014 I was seconded in Turkey as Project Manager and Chief Engineer of MidSEFF, one of the largest Credit Line developed by the EBRD for financing mid-size projects in the energy efficiency and renewable sectors.
