About Michele McKay

As with many agents, real estate is Michele’s second career. She was an architect and owned her own successful firm. This translates to a unique understanding of building construction and design – a skill set she is happy to use on her client's behalf. A life event made her rethink her career. So, wanting to stay involved in helping people, she became a real estate agent. Michele sees her role as that of a trusted adviser. Putting her clients’ needs first and foremost, protecting their interests throughout the buying or selling process. Her value to her clients is in representation and negotiation - negotiating the best possible price, and guiding her clients through the complicated business of buying or selling a home. By putting her background and training to work, Michele helps translate her clients’ visions to reality. A native Californian and true “Local Expert”, Michele grew up in Lafayette and lives in Orinda. Although she has traveled extensively and lived elsewhere, Lamorinda has always been home. Michele knows the neighborhoods, culture, and people. She is helping seniors downsize, investors find potential property, couples buy their first homes and families meet their changing needs. Michele is delighted to be selling real estate in Lamorinda and the surrounding communities.
