A senior policy analyst with 25 years of experience in economic development, disaster risk reduction and strategic communications in developing countries, including more than 15 years living overseas and working in multi-cultural environments. I have worked directly for public and private sector organizations in Africa, Europe and the US including international organizations (WFP, OCHA, ICRC and the World Bank), governmental organizations (USAID and the Government of Mozambique), non-governmental organizations (the Partnership to Cut Hunger and Poverty in Africa), private sector firms (Freeplay Energy, Chemonics, ARD and IRG) and universities (Michigan State, Tulane, Oxford and Cornell). I have in-depth experience with all aspects of project management including project design, monitoring and evaluation, and administration. In addition to excellent written and oral communication skills, I speak Portuguese (advanced) and Spanish (intermediate).
