About Michele Mullen

As Senior Manager, Workforce Project at National Children's Alliance, I oversee NCA's Workforce Initiative with the goal to make recommendations to the Board of Directors to: Increase Black, Indigenous, People of Color in Leadership Roles in the CAC movement, Strengthen the Current CAC Workforce, Increase Mental Health Staff in CACs, and Increase Medical Staff in CACs. Previously, I was a training Specialist with Northeast Regional Children’s Advocacy Center (NRCAC), I provided training and technical assistance to Children’s Advocacy Centers (CACs) and Multidisciplinary Teams in the nine northeast states. A licensed social worker with over 27 years of experience in the field of child abuse, commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC), sexual assault, and domestic violence. As a champion of the CAC movement, I am committed to coordinated and compassionate services to child abuse victims and their families, with priority on the intersection of trauma-informed care and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Some of my core competencies include training, program development, grant writing, strategic planning, consultation, and team development. I hold a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
