My journey started in the family business "doing the books" and streamlining processes. After relocating from Sydney to the Sunshine Coast I moved into public practice, earning my stripes in all things taxation and compliance. Like most business owners, I thought I should start my own business and do it better and build an awesome service accounting practice. Knowing my skillset was one thing, but they don't teach you at university how to successfully run a business - even in a Business Degree! So I learnt through experience, mistakes and wins along the way. I have engaged coaches/ consultants and have done a tonne of learning. From a start up to well over 7 figures in revenue, and then starting and growing a financial planning practice, I went on to successfully sell these businesses. So have come full circle, and understand the lifecycle of a business. Over the last 30 years I have worked with hundreds of business owners both as an accountant and also as a coach and consultant working with them to achieve their business goals. Many relationships spanning the full 30 years. My goal is to work with you, to build your best business and to live your best life. Local businesses form the lifeblood of our economy and strong local businesses build strong local communities. I want to share my knowledge and skills to make your business great.
