About Michele Powers

Michele Powers is a self motivated professional who is always seeking new opportunities to learn and grow. She enjoys working with others to tackle new challenges and is not afraid to ask questions. With her current employer, she has is responsible for communicating between the customers, fabrication venders, and internal teams to ensure successful HRSG project execution. She has worked on creating and improving trackers to better support the customer’s and venders concerns on 400+ documents. In this position, she is given the opportunity to work on the international stage and to continue growing her technical knowledge on HRSGs, customer service skills and time management skills daily. Some of her previous engineering experiences have been with Hallmark Cards where she oversaw 25+ operators and the machinery used. In this experience she was able to grow her leadership and soft skills such conflict management and quick decision making. Another opportunity that she had was with Altec Industries where she helped support the expansion of the plant to a new location. In addition, she researched, designed, and implemented a new oven rail system for the company to allow for safer transportation of product.
