About Michele Vello

Laureato in storia dell’arte all’Università di Udine, è docente di Storia del costume e della calzatura, Sistema moda, Fashion trend and research, Cultura della moda e linguaggio dell’abbigliamento presso i corsi ITS della Fondazione ITS Cosmo di Padova. Grafico ed esperto di storia del costume, ha collaborato con musei italiani e stranieri per la realizzazione di presidi didattici (Museo di Palazzo Mocenigo a Venezia e Gemäldegalerie di Dresda). Ha curato l'allestimento e il riordino espositivo di costumi e tessili per il Museo Civico di Bassano del Grappa (sezione Tito Gobbi e Storia della Città) e il Museo dell'Occhiale di Pieve di Cadore. Dal 2016 si occupa di divulgazione della storia del costume per associazioni culturali in Veneto, Guide Turistiche Italiane (Veneto e Umbria) e ConfGuide Ravenna. A graduate in History of Art from the University of Udine, he teaches History of Costume and Footwear, Fashion System, Fashion Trend and Research, Fashion Culture and the Language of Clothing at the ITS Cosmo Foundation's ITS courses in Padua. A graphic designer and expert in the history of costume, he has collaborated with Italian and foreign museums in the realisation of didactic headmasters (Palazzo Mocenigo Museum in Venice and Gemäldegalerie in Dresden). She has overseen the setting up and exhibition reorganisation of costumes and textiles for the Museo Civico in Bassano del Grappa (Tito Gobbi and History of the City section) and the Museo dell'Occhiale in Pieve di Cadore. Since 2016 she has been involved in disseminating the history of costume for cultural associations in Veneto, Italian Tourist Guides (Veneto and Umbria) and ConfGuide Ravenna.
