My professional experience and knowledge in acute care allows for professional growth and enabled me to provide the highest quality of care to the patients I served. I have been a Registered Nurse and highly skilled career professional with nearly twenty years of practical experience in acute care (Cardiovascular-Intermediate care) and critical settings (Post Anesthesia Care Unit). My experience also included the Emergency Department (succinctly), and Labor and Delivery for approximately one year. Both the ED and L&D I consider an integral part of my profession identity. The ability to quickly establish trust with patients and medical staff in an effective, open and caring manner has assisted me in achieving outcomes and positive goals for those that I cared for. As a Registered Nurse, I am able to delegate in a professional and discernible approach to assure orders and tasks are carried out and accomplished with clarity. My communication skills are exemplary as well as troubleshooting, multi-tasking and meeting productivity parameters. I enjoy research and working through problematic issues to find the solution or the best answer possible, priding myself as a resourceful professional. I possess a proficiency in all documentation and medical chart review accuracy related to current and legal practices as governed by policy. Ethical conduct and treatment of my patients, as well as patient confidentiality, are paramount and foremost in my practice as a licensed profession nurse.
