Recently appointed as Chair, Bereaved Families of Ontario - Ottawa Region. BFO Ottawa provides peer-to-peer bereavement and grief support to those in the Ottawa region who have lost a loved one. We are primarily a volunteer based charity that have each experiences the loss of a loved one. They offer their lived experience and knowledge of having walked the grief journey. Our trained facilitators lead various support groups. We receive little to no government funding and exist on the generous donations and support from our participants, donors and supporters.
