Most recent role as the Manager of Revenue Development, and a member of the senior management team at a Non-Profit Care home. Focusing on events, fundraising, grants, proposals, media and public relations, social media, and marketing. Past roles include New Business Development, Field Management, and Workload District Planning, and management experience in Escalations and Conflict Resolution. Exceptional interpersonal skills and communication, detail orientated, a relationship builder, and always seeing the bigger picture. Passionate about community, and the importance of employee engagement. Proven public speaker, advocate, past political candidate, and published writer, with a background in fundraising and communications. World events, and the direct impact it had on my role working in a Long Term Care facility, led me to make a dramatic shift in late 2020. Following my lifelong dream to open a Toy Store, and doing so during lockdowns, I created a thriving and popular brick and mortar retail store. Award winning within a year, in the black within 8 months, and now operating independently with a fantastic team of wonderful staff members. Kiwi & Bos Wonder Emporium was incorporated in 2022. With zero previous retail background, but a passion for sales and customer experience, and the initiative to research, learn, and grow, I created a business I believe will thrive for years to come. I'm now ready for my next challenge, and open to possibilities that may be behind the next door.
