Professional with over 25 years working in the field of social services, specifically serving those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Nineteen of those years were spent in Early Intervention and three years working in supported employment. Currently working as an Intake Specialist, conducting social assessments to better understand the specific needs, strengths, and challenges of each individual and making recommendations for eligiblity per the Frank Lanterman Act (California). I have extensive experience working with families in highly stressful situations and assisting families in navigating appropriate services within their communities. Over 20 years experience completing developmental assessments in infants and toddlers and assisting families in securing therapeutic interventions to address their child's developmental needs.
