Background

About Michelle Baransky

As an analyst, I have a vast knowledge and experience in monthly strategic reporting, monitoring and analysis. Having a background of finance and retail analysis, I am able to understand and utilise all sources of information, and provide meaningful feedback to diverse business departments. I have a naturally inquisitive mind which aids me in my analysis to search for all the possible explanations, not just the obvious. I am able to utilise my expertise and skills to gather information from various sources in order to identify, analyse and take actions, in order to promote the company’s strategic business plan. I have been in a number of finance roles, from Accounts Payable to Management Accounting. Having experience in these roles, as well as in analytical roles, has allowed me to understand more of how a business functions. I have dealt closely with Sales and Retail teams, and enjoy building good working relationships that are beneficial to both parties. I am able to deliver for internal and external stakeholders through my reports and open communication. I also believe in empowering others and the use of their skills to enhance teamwork, build on our goals and to challenge myself & others. After three years of overseeing the formative years of my 2 children, I’m looking forward to getting back into an analytical role.
