About Michelle Bockin

With 20 years of experience in commercial insurance, I am the East Zone Leader for the Private Company Group at Everest Insurance, a global provider of property and casualty insurance products. As a Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU), I have a deep knowledge of the legal liability risks and exposures faced by private and not-for-profit organizations, and I lead a team of underwriters to deliver tailored and innovative solutions to our clients. I have a strong track record of developing and maintaining profitable relationships with brokers and agents, as well as managing a large and diverse portfolio of accounts. Prior to joining Everest Insurance, I spent 10 years at Chubb, where I progressed from an Executive Underwriter to a Financial Lines Underwriting Manager, overseeing the underwriting and marketing of management liability products for private and not-for-profit entities. Career began with Marsh FINPRO as Client Advisor where I also acquired multiple skills in risk management, insurance, and leadership, and I am passionate about providing exceptional service and value to our customers and partners. I am driven by the mission of Everest Insurance to protect and empower our clients to achieve their goals, and I bring a collaborative, supportive, and inclusive approach to my work. I am always eager to learn from others and share my expertise, and I strive to contribute to the growth and success of our team, organization, and industry. I have a strong passion for coaching, mentoring, and educating peers to make strides in their life and career. As such, through the years, have chaired several Professional Women’s Development groups, led regional chapters of Early Career Coaching Programs, designed and launched professional skills training seminars that hosted hundreds and served on Sub-Committees and formerly, the Board of The Insurance Society of Philadelphia – NextGeneration. Currently, I proudly serve on the DEI Committee at Everest Insurance which allows me to actively contribute and influence a culture of inclusion and advancement for all employees.
