About Michelle Bower

For almost two decades I have devoted my career to the charitable sector – both client and agency side. This rich experience has afforded me the opportunity to travel the world and work with charities in nearly every sector of philanthropy and with every medium and channel. On April 15, 2016 I opened an agency focused entirely on the production and placement of TV, video and digital for Canadian charities. The agency is called Mission Productions and Media Inc.(missionproductions.ca) With the onset of the digital era the ways in which charities acquire and steward donors has and continues to change at an accelerating rate. We have become a digitally dependent society and the lines between online video and TV are blurring. In fact, it won’t be long before the two mediums are completely indistinguishable. We also know that emotion motivates giving behaviour and nothing produces emotion like moving pictures. Charities are poised well to benefit from today’s emerging trends and it is my goal to help chart the path to success. I am honoured to be leading the charge at Mission. It’s about fueling the mission of the causes we serve and there is nothing that inspires me more than that.
