I am all about the details. Whether it is the smallest piece of info about a project, or when we are leaving for a family vacation, I am your girl. “Ask Michelle” has long been the response given by my family for any information requested. I am always curious and want to continually learn more. I don’t just want the answer, I want to know the “how” and “why” behind it. I get great satisfaction from getting to the bottom of an issue, and figuring out the best way to solve it. Which leads to my desire of wanting to make things better than they were. Whether it is making a process more efficient, increasing IT security, helping students stay connected to their education during a pandemic by sourcing and helping distribute technology, fostering dogs until they are adopted into their perfect forever homes, caring for and assisting with the training of service dogs until they can be placed with their “person”, or cheering on others with their latest goals - I want to help. I experienced a serious medical issue some years ago, and when I recovered, I realized I really want to surround myself both professionally and personally with others that share the same values as I do. This really feeds into my “make/leave things better than they were” perspective. In my spare time, you'll find me surrounded by my family, friends and animals. We love to camp, ATV, boat and travel. We are busy, but I sometimes get to read a book while I wait at a “kid pick-up", or on the beach during our travels. My girls have starting horseback riding, so we can ride together, and hope to own a horse(s) soon. Maybe one of us will end up proficient enough in some discipline to win some money riding, to support this habit!(Spoiler – it won’t be me.)
