About Michelle Buggs

The motto for my previous wellness company was : You have one life.how are you living it? I like to live my life eating, traveling, and golfing! I finished my M.S. in Dietetics at Eastern Michigan University and became a registered dietitian last year. My passion is working with patients diagnosed with T2DM and aspire to become a CDCES. I have experience consulting with patients diagnosed with T2DM, HTN, and other health conditions at ProMedica Diabetes Center, two outpatient clinics with Henry Ford Health. Additionally, I am a proud board member of a non-profit organization, providing education, mentorship, and financial support to black women owned businesses in Southeast Michigan. I have always lived life to the fullest, counseling over clients as a Lifestyle Fitness Coach and certified trainer at several gyms. I was a Professional National Figure Competitor, co-owner of a wellness studio, and owned a fitness center, which led me down this path to learn more about food and nutrition to fuel the mind and body. I have a solid background in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, and Networking through my first bachelor’s degree and worked for Cumulus and Clear Channel Radio Stations. I walk through life with passion, enthusiasm, and tenacity to create good experiences for myself and those around me. Life can be lived simply, but why? You only have one, and I do not intend to waste mine.
