Safety-focused transportation professional with nearly a decade of experience in the trucking industry, specializing in driver management, regulatory compliance, and over-dimensional/heavy haul operations. I bring a hands-on, practical approach to safety—one that balances accountability, education, and driver support.In my current role as a Specialized Senior Driver Manager, safety is a daily priority. I work closely with drivers to promote safe decision-making, coach driving behaviors using telematics and camera systems, and ensure compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations. I manage drug and alcohol testing compliance, conduct annual safety and training calls, and partner cross-functionally to investigate incidents and implement corrective and preventative actions.Previously, I spent several years in heavy haul and over-dimensional permitting, planning compliant routes across the U.S, Alaska, and Canadian provinces. That experience strengthened my ability to identify risk before it becomes an issue and reinforced the importance of preparation, communication, and regulatory accuracy in protecting drivers, the public, and company assets. I’ve also assisted in developing OD Class 1 and Class 2 driver qualification testing to help ensure drivers are properly prepared for specialized freight.I’m passionate about building strong safety cultures rooted in consistency, transparency, and trust. I believe effective safety leadership means supporting drivers while holding clear standards—and addressing issues before they escalate.
