About Michelle Carter

6 years as a senior manager of a team of 8 transport experts, we enable the innovation and deployment of new transport solutions. I have spent 10 years mobilising a Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) industry in the UK, working with industry experts and government to build the supply chain and inform policy development. Architect of UK's SAF Innovation Programme and developed the business case for Europe's first UK SAF Clearing House. Personally, I am championing change & raising awareness of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME or ME/CFS). We currently face a post-pandemic economic and social challenge due to the spike in people suffering post-viral chronic illnesses leading to a talent drain as sufferers fail to receive adequate support at work and in society to enable them to fully participate. If it is in your gift, empower and support that talent - its good for the economy and good for productivity. Approx. people in the UK have ME (that is just those with a confirmed diagnosis)- with a range of complex debilitating symptoms including chronic fatigue.
