About Michelle Casey

For 19+ years, I had been running my own advertising agency in two locations, with my business partner and friend from high school. Both of us were ready to start new chapters in our lives and seek out endeavors that mean something. For me, that was going back to school to enter an entirely new industry, the medical field. I have been helping people in Marketing & Advertising but now want to help people more on a personal level, at the time they need it the most. My mom had a stroke at the young age of 48. It took a lot of patience, compassion and encouragement to improve her life qualities. It was this improvement that inspired me to pursue a career as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) at an accredited school, Pima Medical Institute (PMI). A COTA is helpful, compassionate, a critical thinker and creative. These are all qualities I have and learned over the years, especially in Marketing & Advertising. Attending Pima Medical Institute was a great opportunity to start a new challenging career and give my best to others. After 3 years since graduating, I'm working as a COTA/L in a pediatric hybrid setting. We pride ourselves on being evidence-based and providing holistic and ethical care.
