About Michelle Chen

I love problems - finding them and solving them. Finding Problems: As a former Quality Assurance Engineer, I have professional experience diagnosing software problems and using technical writing to share findings with the development team and project managers. I also love wrestling in R, Python, and PostgreSQL to find where the bugs are, and asking critical questions to ensure that the work being done is relevant to pertinent stakeholders. Solving Problems: Of course, we can’t go about our lives without solving some of the many problems we create. But, sometimes we need a bit of help. With my previous experience as an Undergraduate Learning Assistant, I’ve helped students to identify and solve their analytical inquiries. In my own projects, I’ve been providing insights on data using tools such as creating regression models and performing hypothesis testing to provide data-driven and statistically significant insights.
