About Michelle Chen

I am a motivated, driven first generation college student studying Economics with a minor in Accounting at Northeastern University. Currently, I am at Tyton Partners as a strategy consulting co-op, where I support client engagements in the global knowledge/education sector through research, data analysis and visualization, and insight development. In my previous co-op I worked within a Corporate Accounting role at Wayfair and took on tasks to drive month-end close process efficiency and accuracy. While an aspiring consultant in the short-term for learning and growth opportunities and the ability to leverage change, long-term I am seeking a career that blends strategic thinking and humanitarian impact. In the future, I hope to find myself working at the crossroads of business strategy and global challenges to tackle inequities in access, resources, and opportunity. In and outside of work, I try to live by reminders to appreciate the little things and enjoy the journey. It is a mindset that keeps me grateful in the smaller moments in life while also remaining intentional about my personal and professional growth.
