About Michelle Clancy

I have spent over ten years working for Porter County Government providing essential customer service to our taxpayers along with being the custodian of all county funds. I have been elected by Porter County taxpayers to ensure that their hard earned money is safe and every penny is accounted for. Over the years at Porter County, I have been able to reduced the Treasurer's office budget while increasing customer service. Prior to working at for Porter County, I worked for a marketing research company. This was a position I found very interesting. Through the process of programming cross tabulation tables, I would transform large volumes of raw data into useful information. These results would then be analyzed, and the findings presented to management and clients. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and International Business. I have also completed a Master’s of Business Administration with my concentration being Finance.
