About Michelle Coleman

According to LinkedIn this space is for sharing previous experiences and achievements. But that kind of goes against a recent promise I made myself; more looking forward and less looking backwards. I’m going to take this space to talk about what I want to do. I want to keep on challenging myself, trying new things and pushing new boundaries for what´s considered "normal"."Normal" for myself, but also "normal” in my professional arena. After being a full-time professional athlete for 10 years, I now want to take that experience to a new level. Combining the road to my 4th Olympic Games with the start of a profession in communications. The start of this journey was a 8 month long break-something that is far from normal in high-level sport, it was breaking a norm. Because in elite sport you usually just keep pushing. So instead of stating what people usually recognize as achievements. I want to say that my achievements are- Breaking barriers - Not being scared - Allowing myself to listen - Following my intuition - Learning and growing from past experiences - And always trying to find new ways to push performances
