About Michelle Cornejo

With over two decades of administrative and operational experience, I bring a deep commitment to excellence, compassion, and consistency in everything I do. My career began with 13 years at Wickes Furniture, where I served as an Office Manager until the company’s closure in 2008. That time shaped my professional foundation, instilling in me the value of firm yet empathetic customer service, and the importance of precision and care in executing daily operations. In 2008, I joined the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools, Internal Business Services Department. My role as an Attendance Technician has continued to evolved over the past 12 years. I assist and support classroom attendance auditing and analysis (Average Daily Attendance) across 33 contracted districts within San Bernardino County Superintendent of school’s special education and alternative education programs. I also prepare and report ADA to the state of California using AERIES data. Working behind the scenes to support educators, staff, and ultimately the students and families we serve has been an incredibly rewarding journey. I take pride in contributing to a mission that impacts so many lives, and I am continually inspired by the resilience and strength of our community. Throughout my career, I’ve developed a strong skill set in customer service, accounting, data analysis, and administrative operations. I am always eager to grow, learn, and take on new challenges. I am deeply grateful for my role at San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools and remain committed to making a positive, lasting impact.
