About Michelle Current

I have over 20 years experience in mortgage servicing. I started in Customer Service and quickly moved to Loss Mitigation. Where I worked with customers to assist with mortgages, implement departmental changes and subsequently obtained a management role. In an effort to grow in the mortgage industry, I worked in the Acquisition Department where I loaded data (via programming) from prior servicers to the business' servicing system. This provided not only a new understanding of products but also an understanding of multiple departments and industries. In most recent years I was responsible to work with originators, third party vendors and various departments to ensure our system was updated to met compliance, investor requirements, business needs and customer satisfaction. This was accomplished through programming, reconciliation and researching/resolution processes. I have worked with internal and extremal teams to hire, train, coach and promote employee growth. My management style is situational which allowed me to manage each person as they need. In training, I have developed training manuals, procedures and checklists to ensure my team's success. Lastly, I worked with peers and IT to develop, test and implement digital transformation projects. I have learned about creating scope documents and Agile testing. In previous years, I have worked with IT to design, create, test and troubleshoot scripts.
