About Michelle Diamond

Being a young, energetic person I enjoy a busy lifestyle and working environment. I started my career 19 years ago, when I was given the opportunity to work as an Administration/Accounts Assistant at Nationlink Property Group where I spent 6 years developing various bookkeeping skills while gaining knowledge on payroll, debt collecting, reconciliations & audit preparation. During this time I enrolled to study for a Secretarial & Personal Assistant diploma through Damelin Correspondence College, which I completed in 2006. I then joined Eurocelt Head Office as a Debtors Clerk and less than a year later I was promoted to Creditors Clerk where I discovered I had natural talent for the position, maintaining a clean creditors book for 8 branches over the next 2 years while also assisting with the company's payroll. Since 2009 I have been employed at RPC Astrapak Plastop, initially as a Receptionist/Debtors Clerk & after a year promoted to the role of handling various financial duties such as Creditors, Wages & Human Resources. In 2018 I was promoted RPC Astrapak head office as the Human Resources & Payroll Administrator where I handle all HR & Payroll duties for two sites. After proving myself in that position after 6 months I was promoted again to my current position of Group Human Resources Administrator where my previous payroll, HR & financial skills have proved valuable and my role has expanded to handles many more responsibilities including managing a team of 4 payroll administrators within the group In 2019 I completed a Human Resources Management course through UCT's GetSmarter and 2010 I completed 2 diplomas in Management Accounting & Finance and Business Management & Administration through Varsity College, I have put this knowledge to good use in my every day work environment and continue to develop my skills at every available opportunity. I am a meticulous, honest, loyal and hard working person, who is extremely deadline driven and who works well under pressure. I have excellent communication skills and am well-liked by my colleagues. I view myself as a well-organised person who enjoys investigating and resolving problems systematically I am open to discussing any new opportunities where I can use my knowledge to better assist an organisation.
