Some days it's fluid and beautiful and others it's rigid, and a work in progress. My goal is to teach students to understand not just the pose but the art of the movement behind the pose. Yoga is a science, balancing the mind and body, is the experiment. Yoga is a reflection of you. You hold the wisdom of the practice, both yin and yang. In many modalities of training we can't be held accountable for our actions. Yoga is unique in that, you are your best teacher. The student is the one who controls the movement, the teacher is there to simply guide the student into a deeper asana. Overcoming cancer in early 20s my body has been through a lot. Many peoples views are construed in that they need to be flexible or un injured, not true. It's when you need it the most! So in this journey of yoga on or off the Mat wellness begins with you! From SUP yoga, to indoor instruction, the practice can accommodate everyone.
