About Michelle Dunham

I am an international educator with 20 years of experience, including 11 years in public education in the United States, where I am originally from. My passion for teaching and leadership has taken me across the globe, including three years in the Philippines, where I was promoted to Dean of Student Life and Vice Principal, and two years in Myanmar during the challenges of COVID-19 and a military coup. Currently, I am in my fourth year at the KAUST School in Saudi Arabia, where I teach MYP Math and serve as the Grade Level Leader for Grade 6. I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Arkansas State University and recently completed a Master’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa. With a commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth, I have recently applied to a doctoral program at Wilkes University with an emphasis on educational leadership. Throughout my career, I have focused on creating inclusive learning environments, building strong relationships with students, and leading teams through dynamic and challenging contexts. I am driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact on student learning and well-being, both in and out of the classroom.
