I am a seasoned communications specialist who has extensive (in-house and agency) experience developing and executing strategic public relations programs for a variety of businesses, including several Fortune 500 companies. It is my belief that communication programs should align with core business objectives and deliver measurable results. I also believe that the key to media relations success is knowing how to craft and pitch a story that will resonate with journalists, editors, and producers. It is less who you know, and more how you convey a story; something that I have proven time and again over the years. Writing is, and has always been, both my passion and strong suit. I love anything to do with messaging and storytelling and am comfortable writing for any type of communication channel. If you get creative, it is possible to turn the driest of material into something appealing. Other areas of expertise include brand management, product promotion, issues management, reputation management, thought leadership, executive visibility, integrated marketing, project management, and analytics. I have also been a trusted advisor to senior management, including C-Suite executives. To date, I have worked within the financial services, travel, enterprise computing, consumer technology, private security, and education sectors.
