About Michelle Foote

I want to build a world where no one is hungry or homeless—a place where everyone has a fair shot at a good life. Supporting the community has always been a passion of mine. Over the years, I’ve volunteered in schools, sports programs, food initiatives, reading and running clubs, mentorship programs, and my family also fosters senior dogs. One volunteer highlight I’m especially proud of: as volunteer leaders of the London Shoebox Project, Allison Tisdale and I were nominated by the Salvation Army and My Sister’s Place to be recognized by the Ontario Government for our work in advancing initiatives for women and girls. We also received the YMCA Peace Medal. These honors mean so much to me because of the incredible community organizations who recognized our work. I’m happy to combine my business expertise (finance, sales, operations, HR) with my passion for helping the most vulnerable in our community. At United Way Elgin Middlesex, I work closely with donors, partners, and volunteers to ensure everyone has a fair shot at a good life.
