About Michelle Gettsy

Always moving forward in a positive manner, I have worked to become a well rounded employee that is capable of working with and being successful in a variety of settings. In my career, I have had the opportunity to work within many different departments in a Tribal Government setting. Those have included being a Land Use Planner, a G.I.S. Tech, a Compliance Officer for a Planning Department, Executive Assistant to Tribal Council, Account Manager with the Public Works Department, Business Manager for the Muckleshoot Tribal School, and most recently as the Managing Director of Tribal Operations for the Tulalip Tribes. I am comfortable in high stress situations and try not to be reactionary in nature. I earned a Master's Degree in Jurisprudence in Indian Law from the University of Tulsa College of Law. I am goal oriented but not afraid to change my goals.
