About Michelle Glick

I have had a steadfast commitment to serving children and families for 10 years - with international public health internships in college, as a middle school science teacher with Teach for America in DC, as an asthma educator and pediatric clinical research coordinator at Children’s National, and most recently in medical school through my work in a free clinic for homeless families. I’m currently a leader and innovator in groups I joined 3 years ago, sharing and expanding on my Master’s in Teaching that I entered with to benefit my peers and patients at Jefferson. I worked first as a patient educator with JeffHOPE, a student-run organization that provides care to the homeless population of Philadelphia, and now am Education Director for its 5 clinics and over 50 staff. I utilized my sexual assault counselor training from college as President of Jefferson Students Organized Against Rape. Lastly, on my off days, I was president of the Jefferson Clowns for Medicine, bringing smiles and corny jokes to Jefferson University Hospital. I am very proud and humbled that my classmates nominated me this year for the Gold Humanism Honor Society, which I was inducted into in March 2018. I am looking forward to applying to Pediatric residency programs this summer, 2018, and to my medical school graduation in May, 2018.
