I represent companies and individuals in high-stakes disputes, often when a trusted business relationship has gone bad—breach of contract issues, business break-ups, fraud, and joint-ventures turned south. I represent attorneys who have been sued by former clients, as well as directors and executives when they have been sued. I pursue and defend claims that arise when an employee—especially a high-level employee, such as an executive—has been accused of walking out the door with confidential or trade secret information or is alleged to be in violation of a non-compete or non-solicitation. I fight for clients to get paid when business partners refuse to do what is right. And while I love the battlefield of a courtroom or arbitration hearing, I recognize that clients usually do not. So first and foremost, I am a problem solver and dispute resolver. I am a communicator. Whether on the plaintiff or defense side, I work from day one to position a case for the best possible outcome based on the client’s goals.
