Over 11 years experience consisting of working within the Voluntary and Community sector, for the Local Authority, within the Legal System and currently for the Police Force. Registered Social Worker with Social Work England. Bachelor of Social Sciences degree in Criminology and Law from Teesside University. Skilled in Children and Young People services, Social Sciences, Mental Health First Aid, Social Inclusion, and Diversity & Community work. Passionate about promoting Human Rights, Equality, Advocating, Mental Health and Well-being and Social Justice. Always open and eager to learn more and collaborate on projects. Part of the Cleveland Police Engagement team currently accountable for projects with Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities, Refugee and Asylum Seekers, LGBTQ groups and Low Income Communities across Redcar, Middlesbrough, Stockton and Hartlepool. A part of the winning team of the LGBT Alliance Award from Hart Gables and the Catalyst Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Public Sector. Twice finalist for a Tees Valley BME awards.
