Enabling clients improve business processes and related controls through consultative and assurance services Michelle helps them meet business objectives and mitigate critical risks. Clients consistently cite her ability to adapt solutions and approaches to their company’s size and complexity, along with her experience working with Fortune 500 and FTSE multinational organizations in the indstrial products, retail and consumer and agribusiness industries as integral to their success. Michelle’s teams deliver projects ranging from: evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of controls; creating and/or improving the processes for compliance with policies and government regulations (including SOX); designing and implementing controls during business process transformations and system implementations (with a focus on SAP and Oracle); co-sourcing Internal Audit functions to enhance value delivered; and assisting Internal Audit functions improve alignment with organizational strategic objectives. Michelle has a first-hand global perspective from projects she has delivered across the US, Europe, Latin America, and the Asia Pacific region (specifically - China, India and Singapore). Committed to the communities she lives and works in, Michelle invests time and talent on the Finance committee of the Heart of Illinois United Way and as Treasure and Board member of Wildlife Prairie Park. She also served on the Eureka College Board of Trustees (alma mater of the late President Ronald Reagan) from 2010 - 2015.
