Experienced Director, team lead and business unit head with a demonstrated history of working in the construction industry. Construction project manager with experience in all project management processes from inception through completion and commissioning to operation. Currently responsible for WSP Group Africa's Property and Buildings division. Previously Project Director on two 10MW greenfields data center projects in Midrand, South Africa and Lagos, Nigeria. Business unit head of Turner & Townsend’s Energy division in South Africa from 2016 - 2019. Responsibilities included; managing Oil & Gas projects in South Africa; delivering the targeted revenue and margin; business development, including tender submissions, proposals, cross sector selling and key account management; financial management; compliance, governance and risk management in accordance with Turner & Townsend’s requirements on all commissions within the Energy Business Unit; and sourcing, mobilising and managing expert project controls resources to Energy projects in Africa. Expertise and experience professionally applied within diverse sectors, including property, oil and gas, and mining and metals. Contracts manager with expertise in a number of procurement routes and delivery models from traditional to incentivised EPCM and EPC type contracts. Proven track record managing a delivery team providing holistic project management services to diverse clients in the property sector. Strong design track record as an Architect and in design management. Attention to detail and strong design background adds value to projects, particularly in respect of scope definition, functionality, value engineering and build-ability. Well versed in all project controls areas with emphasis on cost and schedule management and performance measurement and reporting. Experienced in space optimisation and due diligence reviews of existing buildings, including retail and commercial office space.
